Ortivus offers a new version of their computer-aided dispatching (CAD) program for the EMS field, called Sweet-CAD. In addition, Ortivus offers a full suite of software components for mission-critical operations, including call-taking, dispatching, vehicle tracking, reservations, message switching and mobile computing. The CAD component is comprehensive and designed to serve the demanding call-taking and dispatching needs of numerous organizations. Integrated mapping systems that optimize the efficiency of organizational operations, Sweet-CAD has the ability to display more than one incident at a time, and contains many command-and-control features, such as AVL decision analysis/recommendation, asset tracking and (if available) location specific text and graphical information like floor plans, the presence of hazardous materials, evacuation plans, premises history and more.
